This is not so much a serious review. I just watched the movie, like, an hour ago. So I don't know if this'll sound coherent, but I'll mention it now before it gets muddled later. The movie was GREAT. I'd rate it a seven over ten. But in comparison with movie-Twilight, it was WAY better. WAY.

Warning: heavy spoilers )

I just finished reading the epic of Nora Roberts, The Circle Trilogy. It includes: Morrigan's Cross, The Dance of the gods, and The Valley of Silence.

My favorite is the last book because of the love story in it. It's largely an epic, but I'm going to focus on the love story between Cian and Moira because it was heartbreaking.

The Circle trilogy is named so because of the circle of people who make up the leading forces of the war between humans and vampires. Ironically, one member of this circle is a vampire himself, Cian. Despite what he is, he chooses to fight beside the five other members: Hoyt (Cian's twin brother), Glenna, Blair, Larkin and Moira. Basically, the epic narrates how and why the circle was formed, how the circle rallies the people to fight, the bonds that'll get them through the war, and finally the war itself.

First book's love story was between Hoyt and Glenna. The second was between Blair and Larkin. And the last, is between Moira and Cian. I made a video of their relationship. It's my first video ever, and I think from now on I'm going to make vids like this where I cast an actor for a character in the future books I read.

Here you go:

"Moira." He kept her hand in his, then laid hers against his chest. "If it beat, it would beat for you."

Tears stung her eyes again. "Your heart may be still, but it isn't empty. It isn't silent because it speaks to me."

My guy friend just gave me the best non-occassion gift ever! I have the movie companion thingy for New Moon. And I can tell you, it's spoiled the movie for me because now I know every outfit and, I'm assuming, the order of sequences. But damn the photos are nicely shot! I feel so lucky.

And, I also got the journal collection thing. It this metal box containing four little notebooks representing the four books of the series. Within the pages, it's got quotes from the books and some from SM's fave books (Romeo & Juliet and Pride and Prejudice).

All I want now is the soundtrack of New Moon and the DVD of the movie, and I can die peacefully. Haha!! (hyperbole)
